No, but you can do full songs with it. There are no excuses to that. If you want, you can do entire songs, even with the actual state of song mode.
It’s not for you, but I’m tired of hearing the same story over and over about polyend abandoning devices. See how much upgrades had the original tracker. They didn’t abandone it. Even after years and years there was and update not long ago.

That doesn’t invalidate my personal opinion that it is a pity that the PET did not get those (generally) to be expected basic features (not even row repeat), but PE publishes one creative and amazing product after the other. Great for users of those. I would have loved proper (= little more sophisticated) song mode.
Have you tried using “better samples”, is it possible you aren’t using samples that give the result you expect, summed up might be disappointing ? Or have you tried to change the master limiter and EQ? You can do a lot to the signal to mold your end result the way you want.
picked up an og tracker a few weeks ago, finally had some time to use it! credit where credit is due, the extra headroom does make a big difference, im using the same samples i did back when i had one a few years back and they are way more usable without immediately clipping. kind of annoyed that it still has a hard time playing the first note in a track from time to time. kind of bunks up live recording a note on the first step.
made these tunes, tried doing the “tracker delay” kind of sequencing and ended up using it to make a tumbly melody

Hello everyone.
I’m trying to remove the back cover of a used Tracker OG; I’ve taken out all 12 screws from the bottom chassis, but the cover won’t budge. I tried inserting a scraper into the slight gap, but I met resistance and felt it would be risky to apply any more force. Is there a trick to it, or is there a hidden screw somewhere?
The back cover appears to be plastic with a rubberized coating on the surface, and it shows signs of scratches and stickiness. This could be a specification found on the relatively newer OG models.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Could also be under the rubber feet but doesn’t look like they are big enough. My PlayStation 2 slim had one screw under one of the feet’s 
I upgraded to a tracker plus from my og tracker and just discovered tracker plus doesn’t see og tracker projects 
That sounds odd, the T+ should be able to open OG Tracker projects without problems.
