What specifically are you interested in? As far as I could see it’s just a standard indented decoder with a laaaarge knob.
So, this thing is running on a NXP Semiconductors MK66FX1M0VLQ18 180 MHz ARM Cortex-M4F Microcontroller.
We’d guessed it was ARM-based but thanks for your strip down. Brilliant! I’d love it if they open sourced the fw but unfortunately they’ve said they wont…
That’s good enough for me. I was just curious how it all lined up, to see if I can identify where the wobble comes from. I probably just need to re-seat the knob / wheel.
There’s a bit of wobble when I wiggle mine, but not when I turn it:

Does yours wobble when you turn it? If so, re-seating it might help.
Thanks for the video. I think mine wobbles about the same amount. It’s probably fine and I need to get over it. I swear it was a little stiffer in the first week though. Who knows.
The wobble comes from the post itself. There is some downward give to the post where is is seated into its housing. Reseating the wheel/tightening the set screw will not help. Looks like it’s the nature of the part chosen. Hopefully, it has a long life with its mild wobbles.
I am intrigued especially due to the apparent fast and complete workflow towards song production rather than just grooves. BUT…almost all demos I hear are pretty much a mono production and i am wondering if since it is not supporting stereo samples and maybe panning isn’t as apparent feature that everyone are just producing mono productions. Also, for the most part everything has a lofi feel which is ok as a flavor but not for the whole production…thoughts?
…Some questions as well:
Is it possible to use slices mapped to MIDI keyboard keys and record live? And will it occupy more than one channel when doing so?
Is panning a per step parameter? Meaning, if I want my hi hat to be slightly off center, will I have to manually change each step?
How do you handle chords? Is it more feasible to just sample chords or use multiple channels to record them as steps?
I would say that depends on where you are listening. A lot of stuff that goes on instagram is not going to retain stereo (unless that has changed). Panning can be modulated per instrument using an LFO or envelope which is nice. You can also affect panning using the FX lanes. My early experiments use panning quite a bit, so it’s definitely possible.
I’m not sure what lofi feel you’re referring to. This could also be a product of where you are viewing / listening to examples. It is possible to reduce the bit / sample rate of the output, but if one does not use that feature, I’d say the output is really clean and clear.
To continue answering your second post:
I’m not sure, but I think so.
See my comment above re: panning. There are multiple ways to institute panning.
I haven’t done much with chords yet, but you could do either, or both. That was discussed a short distance up on this thread. A quick workaround is to input your chord across several tracks, render that section to a new sample and then use that sample in one track.
I had seen it…I can’t find it…
can you display all 8 tracks on the tracker?
Yep, pattern+whatever 1 or 2 lanes you want to show up.
Any space for a battery pack?
Aaand where is the old school jungle chip located?
I’m spoilt by Deluges sample stretch features so how do people deal with tracker sliced loops? Do you always have to match the Tracker bpm with original sample bpm? A tracker newbie question perhaps…
Only for a very flat and very tiny one. ![]()
Traditionally, you pitch or slice it to that it fit.
I’m feeling this one. Thought it was a Pete Cannon track at first.
Jump around if you have the stamina!
Edited for context, this was/is a tune and @Jalex could easily have been on a drum’n bass selection with that fresh cut
