Not on the same step of the same track…it would take up as many tracks as you want voices of polyphony.
Edit: re reading your original question I think I might have misunderstood. Hopefully this clears it up.

amazing tracker
I think this is why im GASing so hard, as far as things go to just make music away from a PC, the Tracker seems like the best all round device especially at the price point, it sounds like they just want to keep expanding it with features too, I’m pretty excited to see where it’s gonna go when it’s already this all round and interesting
So let s say i have 8 notes pad… it takes up all channels?
So midi tracks for external sequencing are monophonic?!?
Correct
Yes
can the Tracker send Midi CC without sending a gate and note value?
example: note: blank, inst: M01, FX1: CC value
Yep. You can just set the midi cc in the fx slot then point it to the correct channel in midi settings.
In this example it would be…
note:blank
Inst:blank
Fx1 or 2: midi cc a-e
(Then midi settings to select what midi channel you want your cc# sent to)
Filling a value into either note or instrument will auto fill the other, so this is the only way I have figured out so far… but I’m also using the tracker 99% by itself.
sick!
First and foremost I’d like to wish all you wonderful Elektronaut/Tracker homies a happy almost-weekend. We’re close.
I’m getting less horrible at making videos to accompany and display some of my Tracker beats. Also, full tilt in love with this little beast, I’m really happy to see the continuing feedback and input regarding the tracker on this forum.
Much love from (one of) your neighborhood ghost(s).
That’s me and the rest of us
Nice!!
smoove…the projection idea is nice too!
love that guys vids…fits dead on!
Thanks @palm, I’ve been having fun figuring out the worlds cheapest projector over the last few days. Seeing as this video played on the studio wall pretty much the entire time that this beat was being made, it seemed like the right fit just to toss the tracker in frame.
Does anyone know if I could plug in a smartphone 3.5mm condenser mic into the mic in and direct record to the tracker? it seems it would be feasible but just wondering if anyone else has tried this
What a gorgeous clever piece of gear this is… There’s so much to explore here.
Two days in and a only a few hours messing around but I am in looooove.
I like the workflow a lot - had to get my brain into action to begin with but once it clicks (and that happens very quickly) it’s just wonderful to operate.
I’m very much into the idea that gear can surprise you and in turn you end up surprising yourself in what you create. This is very much that.
Don’t try this at home. The PCB needs to be aligned rather specifically for it to go back into the case nicely. I did it so you don’t have to.
The real champion right here ^
Hahahaha I did too and it was indeed not easy to get closed properly after hahaha.
Meanwhile I conducted some more experiments with the Tracker and the CV.OCD to control my modular, and I managed to stay focused for enought time make almost a full track out of it :
You didn’t, by chance, happen to get a picture of the jogwheel area, did you?
