POLYEND ENDLESS
I’m leaning towards a looper. It would make sense to add it to their lineup
That would be my guess. Something like the MESS but loops. That pairing could be a glitch powerhouse.
Tracker Mini XL. It’s the size of the regular Tracker, with the heart and soul of the Mini.
Definitely a pedal since they are announcing it in the pedal area.
Can’t they just finish a product before rolling out new stuff with buggy firmware?
Edit: I should add, I say this out of frustration because so many of their products intrigue me until I start reading about users having issues with firmware or finding disappointing limitations due to poor product design.
I have owned every single one of their products. They have all worked great. The only one that was particularly buggy was the OG tracker in the early days. The MESS and Press are brilliant pedals, so I am excited with what they might be releasing.
I had to sell my Tracker+ … would just crash all the time, and the midi input was basically unusable. I complained about it on the forum and the mod banned me.
I somehow missed that there‘s already a Synth 2.0. Is that a new firmware or yet another massive hardware upgrade after just a few months, frustrating everyone who bought it before?
I want Medusa 2. It’s not going to happen, but I still want it.
Firmware.
Already in the synth thread
Sometimes I miss the Medusa, a firmware update with round robin would allow to go into the Medusa territory
Tracker+ has been sold out on it’s website for at least a week or 2. After what happened with Play+ then it’s probably not an upgrade so soon after, but does seem odd.
Maybe it’s doing the TE thing with the OP-1, creating demand by becoming unavailable, but I wouldn’t mind an upgrade.
I think it’s highly unlikely we will be seeing any platform upgrades any time soon.
From what I understand the whole Play+ debacle was due to the pandemic chip shortage and the original Play ending up with an underpowered processor which they were never happy with.
They made a really big mistake with upgrading it so quickly and I think they were just thinking with an engineering head on rather than a customer focussed one. If they had launched the Tracker+ and Synth first and launched Play+ 18 months later than they did I expect the reaction would have been way less.
At the moment they are in the great position of having the: Tracker+, Tracker Mini, Play+ and Synth all as essentially different form factors and UI of the same core platform.
I anticipate the announcement will be something else in their pedal line.
Well obviously it’s pedal related. Original announcement says “find them in the PEDAL SHOWCASE, as they have something big to show.”
Definitely a Tacker Pedal then.
I get your point but it’s so funny that the way to be customer focused is to deny customers something.
they could be announcing PolyTracker 2.0 in the pedal section, just to mess with everyone ![]()
I suppose that’s what they thought.
We can make a new better thing so what’s the harm in that?
Of course people who spent a lot of money on something that suddenly halved in value felt differently.
