You can find them at Dania:

It’s made by a third party so you might find it online elsewhere too.

Thanks!

Is that still the original OP-1 you had or have you been a lucky boy?

Hehehe  Its the same one!!!

Nice, got a soundcloud clip of that?[/quote]

(lol, this is a totally late reply)

This is before he got an expression pedal for the Freq Box. Guitar starts at 2:44. The filtering and other effects are from his MonoMachine. The Freq Box is set to a static pitch. But, there is none of the original guitar sound left, just the sync’d oscillator.

This is a very rough arrangement of a super quick and dirty recording (recorded all the loops and hacked them up in Ableton).

All synths are the Analog Four and MonoMachine. All the drums are from the Octatrack. My vocoder is an MKS-50 into an Electrix Warp Factory; the other vocoder is a Korg R3.

Don’t fret, we’re all busy doing our thing. I like your overall sound, very retro with a twist of modern. And that’s a good lead sound, punches through the mix, gritty and metallic. Thanks for sharing.

Just got my efx8 yesterday. Quite happy with the setup now

What subject matter do you capture with that field recorder?

Just about anything I come up with… A fridge raid was really fun, I made hihats from banging 2 knives together, brought it with me on a trip in the woods, that kind of stuff.

This is an inspirational list too if you’re out of ideas: http://www.epicsound.com/sfx/

Good stuff SB-SIX. I just recently did a field recording session in an old abandoned building on the hills that had great natural aerie reverberation. The creative methods for coming up with the sounds intrigues me. Thanks for the site, is it yours?

Finally got my new desk finished and set up in the studio. Has two modes, one in a lower position for my mastering work and any critical listening on the Opals, and one in a higher position using the HR824’s for when I prep my live material or record DJ sets:

More details on the build process here if you’re curious:

Beyerdynamic, fine set of headphones. I have two sets, semi-closed back DT 880 and closed back MMX 300. By the way, love your picture of your folks. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I really like the foldable “rackmounting” kits, remember seeing them in pictures from the designer (you?) somewhere.

Are they aviable for purchase somewhere?

They are the EIT1 rack made by Joshua Watson of “company of quail”. Last I talked to him they were no longer in current production, but may be again by the end of the year. I’ve seen a few silver ones for sale on EU recently for real cheap. Great stand if you can find one. I had 2 for a while.

Finally got my rack synth worked out. All rack synths are controlled via midi by the jd800, which also sends midi to the pro40 for daw/soft synth control. The pro40 sends midi out to the fb2, which has 3 midi thrus to send midi to various other components. Everything is run to the lm3204 for audio, and then out to monitors as well as alt 3-4 sending audio to pro40 for recording into the box.

Multiple patchbay routes available to run audio to any of the synths for external processing. Also, not pictured, is the live rig with all my elektrons, op1, 303, etc that can grab midi from the fb2 or send midi into the pro40 via merger. Additional control via mpk25 via USB for daw/soft control.

Hey nice setup Derek, very tidy. What’s the rack case sitting above the case with the Waldorf Microwave XT in it?

Nope, found it a while ago when I was looking for things to do with my recorder. Abandoned building sounds cool, we don’t have those here in holland
