Do yourself a favor and grab the latest beta (if you haven’t). There are a ton of little bug fixes that will make the learning experience smoother.
Hello everyone! We just took a little rest from the One and we have just launched the Coral, a super flexible polyphonic synth that doesn’t take a lot of space in your rack.
Just like the OXI One, you can either delve deep into the Coral or use it as a Poly or Mono synth.

would love one of these and Cirklon to finish up my sequencer needs. Right now happy with the Hapax and modular sequencers.

looks very nice, if i were into eurorack than i’d definitely buy it! (its a rabbit hole I did not dare start with yet haha)
I thought it was dark days having 1 year old. The sun just keeps setting doesn’t it. I’ve impulsively sold a lot of gear that I convinced myself I had no time for, too complicated, etc. But Oxi One has stayed in my setup and I look forward to diving deeper when time returns.
I’ve heard when they turn 4 that you start getting time back. Please tell me this is true!

My impulse fire sale left me with no polys, so this could be real interesting for me. I had assumed I’d go back in the box for poly but I do have a 60hp euro case on the desk which I could make space in.

I just got mine and I’m in love…BUT I need to learn so much and am a little over my head right now…will stick with it though.
Even better, at that age you can start playing music with them. I speak from experience. My children are much better musicians than I have ever been or will be.

I just spent 2 hours with the Oxi and A DFAM and it was amazing. Using the LFOs on the Oxi, one to Retrig and one to pitch was so freaking fun and amazing to hear the sounds coming out of that combo.
I was going to sell the Oxi because I didn’t like it for linear stuff with my polysynths but with the DFAM it was amazing. And in the next 2 weeks I have a Taiga, an Ocoast, and a System 35 showing up. The Oxi will be great with those 3. I will never want to leave the music room.

I am sorry. The needs just are just shifted. They want speak and discuss with you things. Know how things work. They want play with you and spend time with you. You don’t get time back, but it’s a wonderful time you spent with your kid. It’s not anymore a one way thing. Enjoy !

anyone know how to get the ‘roller’ to work? i have a mono sequencer, go to keyboard mode, select 1/16 roller in the 13th column, press play, and start playing notes (keyboad view). But I just hear single notes, no ‘rolling’. What am I doing wrong?
That’s strange… Maybe you have a long release on the sound you’re using, so you don’t hear the roller effect?

that was not it, but i found the issue, I had gate set on 100 in arp settings. did not know the arp settings also affected the roller

other question: i found how to change the color of the leds in the sequencer view (sequencer options page 2). but can I also change the color of the leds in the keyboard view? how?
Does anyone know if the Oxi One will recognize a usb->midi device like this Nektar MIDIFLEX4? I’m wondering if I can run USB from Oxi One to the Midiflex, then 4 MIDI DIN cables from Midiflex to other hardware.
I know I can probably just use a Midi Solutions Quadra Thru or Kenton Thru, but I was thinking this USB route might be better for bandwidth, and there is no usb hub support (yet).
What is that you don’t like in the oxi for linear stuff? I mostly use it with my monos too just curious

The main feature since 2.3 is the implementation of MIDI USB Host.
This allows to power an connect other MIDI USB devices with your OXI One with close to 1A of consumption.Accesories required
- USB C to C cable for USB C devices like ROLI Seaboard.
- USB A + USB C Power to USB C splitter For USB Connection and external supply.
- USB C to USB A adaptor For direct connection and battery power.
