Does keytracking on the LFO rate get it into analog four tuning fork type territory for FM?

Damn…I’m on an older Mac and the upgraded Transfer app won’t work. I’ve been reluctant to upgrade my Mac because everything still runs quite smoothly will all my plugins, etc. and I’m not looking forward to all the headaches a new computer will bring in the short term. Might have to wait until I can go to a friends house to do this update unless I’m missing something

I just threw in some samples but “auto conversion” does not convert stereo to mono it seems, they are just on one channel. So this has to be done before transfer it seems
My music mac can handle it but i was also thinking about getting a small m1 or m2 mini for the living room, just for such tasks, since my old mac there is accepting less and less updated apps

This update is a monster, just installed and ready for jamming at my office. So many things added, so many QoL additions that I’m so pleased with, so many great workflow improvements! Just nuts. I’m also really with the statement at the end of the announcement, as I feel that the Syntakt still has room to grow! Thank you for all the hard work Elektron!

I’m in the exact same position. I could update the OS but I couldn’t transfer the samples on the old version of Transfer. Tried to update Transfer but the new version won’t run and the old one is now gone…
My old iMac has been stable for soon 2 decades but I think it’s time for me to replace it.

I have a 2014 27" iMac that still runs quite smoothly for mixing and such and I just don’t want the hassle of a new computer and wondering why my old plugins don’t work, etc…
Texting a few buddies to see if I can go to their house to do the update

how do overlapping notes react? isn’t it a first time option on the seq?

a QuNexus should be able to set it up with 8 voices max in MPE mode and therefore trigger a note per track on the ST, which can be sequenced and controlled with the ctrl all selection 
keytracking it into some expressive maniac
Sharing my overview and demo too! It’s been a fun couple weeks with this upgrade so far - it’s a super versatile box now. In my vid I cover some how-to, and do a bit of demoing. My first covering an OS so happy to hear any feedback. =)

Well, @Nils is a brilliant hardware head…I’m just a big dumb bass player who enjoys electronic music 
I have a friend who is a very high level mastering engineer and his computer is older than mine. He doesn’t want to upgrade anytime soon because for his job, his rig is working perfectly for that. I can fully relate. Part of my income involves doing remote sessions, mix/remix gigs and I fear too much down time, swapping everything over
