OS Upgrade: Digitakt 1.30

I’d be losing my mind if the Rytm got a second LFO per track. Would LOVE to see that.

I’ve always felt like the Digitakt is the modern SP1200 but this is taking it to a whole new stratosphere. The filters alone are insane. Thank you Elektron!

The new filter es, and mainly the audio input mix will make me buy again as soon i stop travelling… Crazy! The audio input was the thing i miss the most!! Routing a synth thru the fx and comp will be so great!:heartbeat::two_hearts::revolving_hearts::heartpulse::yellow_heart:

I’ve sold my Digitakt last year, but I think Elektron just sold another one to me again.

Awesome … can we please also be able to lock midi settings ?
I want to setup my midi tracks once and be able to use the same config on all patterns.

YYYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!

Thank you Elektron!

Here’s a scary question now.

Is the RYTM about to become the most powerful Drum Machine in the universe or are we finally approaching the ceiling of it’s DSP?

It does look cool and the extended sample pitch range really tickles me - might await a possible next AR update before jumping (not that i expect that range being carried over) - lots of great touches here

i can see it getting some of these DT UI touches at a minimum, but i understood it was one of the more taxed machines, but you never can tell it seems - we can hope, there’s no way to know

That’s a brilliant super fast run through thanks! Now I need to find time in my day to mess around with this stuff. Wow. Been a big few days for a small black box.

Anything can happen

About what’s inside. The A4/AR/DT just have one Coldfire MCF5441 inside and the Digitone two Coldfire MCF5441 inside.

Now we can have a Gaussian RND LFO without midi loopback. YAY!

The DT Day… In love with P EQ !!!

Absolutely monster update, Elektron. You have exceeded so many of the asks in the feature requests here, and taken what was already a modern classic to new levels. Can’t wait to get home from work and load this up.

Serious thank you to Elektron on this. I’ve had my DT for a couple of years now, and with each update, it’s like I’ve gotten a new instrument. This is what value looks like.

Also, major kudos to the development team, for squeezing every last bit of capability out of the DTs processor. It’s not easy to do what you’re doing, and it is very much appreciated.

The idea of “Maxed Out” hardware is a bit of a myth. Of course you’re not going to be able to get real time ray tracing on the DT for playing the latest computer games on any time soon, but as technology improves, people’s ability to pull power seemingly out of thin air also increases!
EG: A simple change to a filter algorithm can free up huge amounts of power!

Someone has been able to figure out a way play DOOM on an IKEA lamp… I think we can’t really say what some wizards are able to achieve until we see it
