You can also loop several patterns in the song mode to do that. Pretty quick in my opinion.
Looks like the main points were USB multitrack, drum synth and a new filter. But could be smaller things as well.

very exciting! The OPXY has pain points, but its by far my favorite all in one box. I have a dirtywave m8, which is an amazing device, but I just don’t can’t get into making music without something to actually play on.

Very curious how multitracking will be implemented & how they are managing integrating the 8+ tracks on the xy vs the 6 channels on the tx-6, assuming it was a consideration at all. Hoping there’s a way to select which channel each track is assigned to

hyped for 1.2.0! also roughly hitting at the 2 year anniversary mark and also feels good after the latest revelations from te. op-xy turned quickly into my most used device after it‘s release and since these 2 years it is still a joy to use after 450+ song sketches / projects, happy to see it still evolving!

Same with the TP-7. Hopefully they’ll add an 8-channel update to be able to multi-track recording directly from the OPXY to the TP7. TX-6 is obviously limited by the fact that there’s only 6 sliders.

I really hope they don’t limit the USB multitracking because of the limitations of the tx-6 at least. I will only record into Ableton.

Does anyone here own an OP-XY and an Outbox 8? It would be very neat if you could check to see if they work together after the new update becomes available
