A Behringer groovebox with similar or better featureset for $199 would maybe pressure these companies to put some sense in their pricing.

In speculative threads such as this I fail to see how either opinion is evidence of either side being less capable of ‘critical thinking’ than the other… no one has any facts on this. Except for the new price. It’s all speculation.
