Day xx : OctaEdit v2 Update
My apologies for the lack of updates recently.
I have been very tied up for the last week or two going through a pretty rigorous job interview process, three stages, and all that entails, getting suited ‘n’ booted, chasing references et al.
Unsurprisingly my number one priority revolves around the fact that I’ve got bills to pay, and mouths to feed.
Because of that, I have had limited time, and no headspace to be doing any coding / testing with OctaEdit; so have been twiddling with a couple of other projects when I had any downtime.
What next?
I am now diving back into OctaEdit. It will take me a little bit to get back into the groove as it were. OctaEdit is a large complex codebase, with long compile times and a lot of moving parts.
I’m going to circle round and go through another round of testing / review where everything is at.
Really at the moment most everything is around bug hunting, optimisation, and making sure everything is ok / working as expected.
After that, will look at pushing out a preliminary beta, OSX only initially, and then take it from there.
Thanks,
Rusty
