No, already own OE
Mk2
Most recent OT firmware
MacOS 10.14.6
None for OE, would like an A4 editor but to be perfectly honest could only shell out ~25$ USD for it.

Yeah I couldnât talk myself into buying a Mac, from a price point of view more than anything. I ended up building an extremely powerful pc for much less than a less powerful MacBook pro.

Could you calculate crossfader value to new scene in Octaedit? Sometimes you find that perfect thing on the crossfader but you donât want to just resample it. Youâd have to know what your current crossfader value is thoughâŚ

If possible, a project manager thingie for A4/AK/AR (projects, sounds, kits, patterns, banks n stuff would suffice, I guess).
An AnalogEdit kind of thing is probaply way too much to ask for, also given the fact we can edit on the machine and use sysex to transfer stuff from and to the computer.
Just wanted to say that Iâd happily spend another 99⏠for the A4/AK version.

option to type values rather than dial
Seconded. And if you do / are / already have implemented some basic sample editing features, please offer finer gain adjustments than the annoyingly not-fine-enough +/-3dB that we have on flex machines (0.1dB should do it).
Iâd welcome a quick way to play back selected audio while making any volume adjustments. A keyboard shortcut should do it, plus maybe holding down a standard modifier key and clicking on a slice. Keyboard shortcuts would benefit anything repetitive, in fact, and I guess youâre all over that (full disclosure: have not rtfm). Letâs make some beautiful muscle memories, anyhow.
CreepyPantsâ resizable windows and Clancyâs typed values get my vote too.
As you were.
