If you manage to do that, please use it to make a ridiculous demoscene style album that you release in the form of a mock-keygen with pixelated anime images as a throwback. Just as a teaser to the rest of us. Not for actual evil or anything…

“break down and buy it early” was what I meant but I’m also all for making a ridiculous warez package in a rar with ascii art in an .nfo file and chiptune music playing during the install etc.

thought OE would have not seen any more features added like…ermmm…well, a while ago? apparently that’s not the case it seems

I can’t seem to open anything looks like my license information was wiped in the upgrade

OSX 10.13.6 I have a backup of my .lic file but not seeing the proper way to link it in the about screen like normal

Might be an options conflict. Locate the [ HD\Users\User\Library\Application Support\OctaEdit\Options\OctaEdit.Settings ] and delete, then try restarting OctaEdit.
If you see any other OctaEdit.Settings files there, rename them as well; as I have changed structure a bit/lot since then,
Edit: Just eyeballing the screenshot, seems like there is either an options, or install conflict as it is also trying to resize?

the size goes a little wonky when I click the lock icon then unlock the side bar section. dunno cleared out everything and that resize still seems to kinda dynamically happen. I’m happen with it at 70% on this little MacBook air screen

I’ve been on this forum several years and it seems this software has never been available. Always coming soon. Is there something I’m missing? I’d love to purchase it before my hair starts turning grey. 
Bad timing? OctaEdit has been available for ages; with periods of time in between that it has been unavailable, primarily because I wouldn’t have been able to supply the level of support that is to be expected due to updates, travel, death in family, that kind of thing.
My advice now is to wait for the official release of OctaEdit v2; as I am in the middle of testing / OSv1.40 updating.
No comment on your hair follicles.

Thanks. Good to know. Didn’t mean to come off harsh, I must have always sought it out during those downtimes. Looking forward to V2 when it’s released. I’ll buy it instantly.
