To use G2 editor with hardware you need not only the editor software itself but also the nord usb driver and I don’t think wine support windows driver. The only way to work with g2 hardware on a modern apple silicon mac is to use a virtual machine, like UTM (as I document here).
I do want a native open source editor and definitely want to support the development financially.
