Best way to connect/synchronize Tonverk and Digitone 2?

Hello all, I’m a bit lost with some posts related with Tonverk latency. I’ve connected the audio output of the Digitone 2 to the input of the Tonverk to benefit from its FX. I’d like to synchronize the two machines. What’s the best way ? Tonverk as master clock and MIDI out to Digitone MIDI in ? Digitone as master clock and MIDI out to Tonverk MIDI in ? Thanks in advance.
