Is it confirmed the new Jup isn’t ACB?

Anyone got a pic of the new drumkit please?

Apparently so, upthread!

Where did you see that it won’t be ACB? I couldn’t find anything.

I wish they’d revisit the Lead or Modular series! I was disappointed by the Wave 2

That’s a deliberate choice, it’s the design ethos.

You’re welcome

(I’d actually like a proper screen too)

JD-800 would like a word…

That’s a deliberate choice - those screens will last forever as good as they were on their first day, unlike many OLEDs probably.

it has 32 voices, so it’s very unlikely ACB

Im a 20yr + Roland user and I’ve learned they have their habits and you need to bend to them to make it work for you. If you come in with that expectation then you can make music with their gear.

For sure. I love my Roland gear.

Well, I bloody hope so… as it will take ‘forever’ to learn which patch is which :innocent:

Any pics of the drumkit please anyone?

I can’t seem to find it!

I just hope it doesn’t boot on your last used patch. God forbid they made a boutique that booted on your last used patch. That would be preposterous. I like running around the studio to all the synths and scanning through all the sounds trying to remember what I was doing every time i try to continue a track

That’d be so rude. I hope it also always plays a non-clearable factory pattern as soon as it senses a clock starting somewhere in the room.

32 voices, for roughly the same price as a System-1m when it was new (and only 4 voices). Can’t be ACB

I really hope is cork sniffers get an ACB 16 voice in a Jupiter chassis running below 2k in price.

Is it possible it might have an option to run in two different modes, mode 1 authentic (ACB/ JP-08) mode 2 zen core (32 note poly)
Think how the ju06a has a switch between two modes 106/60
