Hopefully with a modern display, a better UI and a better use of the panel controls than MC707. And more than 64MB of RAM for samples… The MC909 15+ years before had like 256MB of RAM max…

would really love to see an MC707 refresh or a new groovebox focused on synthesis. not sure exactly though if any kind of analog synthesis would play out well in that context though, having the 808+909 makes perfect sense for a drum machine, but what? maybe 101, 303, juno, jupiter? who knows, all speculation, hopefully something interesting
