New Pittsburgh Modular synth

Yeah, but this is on the tail of them working with cre8 audio more and putting out the taiga at a great price. Old one was a limited run kind of premium type thing, so I guess it depends on what they think the market is for this. Old one was 1600 retail, I suppose they could charge 2k/3k for this if they are making it limited? If not maybe it will be a touch more than a taiga keys?

I’m really looking forward to learning about and hearing more of the VL2 in the next couple of weeks. Looks like a ton of fun (very interactive) from what I could see in the Synth Jam and Richard was getting lots of interesting timbres and rhythms out of it.

On YouTube they replied it was 90hp x6U.

I have a spot on my desk for this… Not enough money yet, but I have a feeling this and the 259t will be the 2 things from superbooth I’ll be saving for. Good food for the DT2.

I wonder what the price will look like?

Just guessing, but I imagine pricing will be in the same territory as the Intellijel Cascadia – i.e. $2100-$2200.

Could be for sure, it has some shared design language from the taiga which gives me some hope that they are targeting a bit lower. But cascadia price would be fair given it has a whole touch controller / sequencer with it.

Nice Song; This synth definetely sounds good!

This does sound very nice. I’m wondering if this song is multitracked or if it’s actually possible to have three simultaneous voices on the VL2? Also wondering about FX – built-in delay?

From what I read on Modwiggler: multitracked and a bit of Valhalla Delay and Vintage Verb.

Very nice core sound, nonetheless :v:t2:

New “hands on” video!

I’m pretty excited about this lil’ (sequencing) beauty.

Snakes is a dual channel gate sequencer. Very simple and easy to use.

Both the code and the schematics are open source.

I’m not really picky about modules’ graphical design, but there’s no way I would use this…

Yeah it’s… odd. I really liked the design of their lifeforms stuff, this not so much. And I like the Make Noise designs

I dig it… it has a microvolt vibe but more trippy. What a great idea of a module too… almost want to get a case just to get this.
