Surely this whole teaser thing has reached the point now where Elektron are thinking ‘this isn’t going so great’? My guess is some clear news/details/image in the next week or if not then possibly they have decided to tweak the hardware in some way and dont want to release any images/info before its all concrete. Maybe it was going to be called Elektron Phat (or DeepMind 
and they thought twice after reading the behringer threads
You can’t know for sure what Elektron is thinking…
But I’d bet on “which beer shall I choose” as most of them are in holidays

Sadly true. Would have bailed a long time ago. Family’s the only thing keeping me here…
I do not think there will be that much overlap with the Octatrack.
- No step sequencer
- No Sampler
- 4 track stereo recorder + 1 effect master track
- More in/output possibilities ; Mic/Guitar inputs
- More Fx, analog (filters) and digital: per track and also on the master track
- OB enabled
It will be more focused on playing/jamming/tweaking and recording the whole thing.
You will need other instruments to get sound of it.
I think that will be the biggest difference with all the other Elektron boxes.
It will be very interesting with what they will come up with.
I do not think it will be an addition to the analog series, it will be a totally new product so also with a newly designed logo just as

I used to work with Microsoft. They never wrapped their heads around the idea that an entire company shuts down during summer. In fact, it pissed them off. Then they offered us money to work over the summer. Neither tactic worked.

“Before” must be pre amps. “Long” maybe a reverb . “Well there you go” might be overbridge, and the car must indicate overdrive.
That’s my guess - multi input machine with good preamps, analog distortion , fx and overbridge. No sequencer or recording. Kind of a mixer I guess with total recall through Overbridge (and saved presets).
Well, Novation plays a different game with their latest feature update. They just posted a vid and told us what it was. Today.
