It’s not really a teaser is it? It’s a confuser. All it says is that Elektron is working on a
new product. All companies are working on new products all the time. If the goal is
to get people excited about a new Elektron product, show a detail or something real.
We are already excited about anything new from Elektron. No need to tease that.

Just watched it again… Seems obvious it’s some kind of field recorder with onboard FX.
I can’t see how you can mix this with trig sequencing though.
A new Elektron box in another format, without the traditional trig-based sequencer ?
Something that records/samples something like 16 tracks would be pretty cool.
I actually miss a mixer + track recorder that would make the computer needless.

Funny. I was thinking the same today. I think they’re bringing the porta back, Elektron style.
In a way, that’s what the OP-1 was too. A four tracker with some cool options to boost. Just expand on that idea. Boom, enter Elektron.

over the past couple years ive very much come to terms with the pernicious and infectious disease of consumerism - which i can assure you is the cause for any “woes” or displeasure caused by this teaser video, especially in terms of antici… pation
id say “get over it” but really, its more like “good luck!” - cuz its pretty much the backbone of modern civilization… and its bloodsucking fangs are sunk way deep inside the social mind which all of us have been indoctrinated with

Personally prefer no news at all, then SURPRISE here it is AVAILABLE as of NOW.
Less energy expended on fantasies & more ‘in the moment & satisfied as is’ zen.
