NAMM 2026 - January 20 - 24

Apple will be showing Logic Pro 12, and Mainstage 4.0 at the show and releasing them a few days after.

They also have a new Creator Studio bundle subscription, which looks like a good deal if you want to step up to the whole Apple software suite ( like Final Cut Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion ).

Note : You can still buy Logic Pro 12 as a one time purchase.

Details on new features may still be coming, but include improvements to the sound library, new AI features, and Chord ID.

( The Fender Studio Pro also has a chord ID function now as well. )

Push 3 standalone has a bit of updates. You can now use a different interface.

I’ll download the update later.

It has been available since November.
Haven’t tried external interface but other features work really well. Love the XY mode.

I see the Celemony Tonalic software just released has strong connections into the Fender / Presonus DAW ( post ). The release timing of all this makes more sense now.

PSA: you might be like me, looking to acquire a piece of gear and if that gear in mind will still be available after NAMM 2026, you might want to hold the budget until NAMM is over. Who knows, you might find something better.

…namm…hmmmmm…for me, it’s only relevant because this year it might be the perfect date to finally release bitwig six…

Doesn’t look to do much more than my 13 year old KP3+. Same clumsy interface, same design, same rca jack ins and out, but now white. This to me makes less sense than the kaoss Replay and I think that bombed.

that video (at 5:31) reminded me of move d - kunstsoff.
plus 1970’s and bad acting… the device itself … no idea.

released their PSR-E483 and PSR-E583 keyboards, to fill up the blank boxes on their product announcement page.

These are their new low end ( meaning extra affordable ) 61-key performance keyboards with a choice of voices and styles you might expect, expressive real-time controls, advanced effects, for creative playing at home and on stage.

Something new from Behringer. Not sure if this is related to NAMM…

For the last week I have wanted to buy a synth-the GAS is strong in me.
Getting too far into the detail is not for this thread- I am wrestling between a modwave, multi/poly and a hydrasynth desktop. The modwave came in as the favourite, Hydrasynth popped up as the strong possibility and whacked the modwave to the canvas but then fell around possible sound and reliability concerns. The multi/poly was going to win by default but the GAS was just deflated.

BUT
-I suddenly awoke 2 days ago, sat up in bed and went- it is January-NAMM. NAMM!
GAS has returned. God may bring new toys to the faithful.

I had completely forgotten, it was just not on my radar.

And look, ASM might be launching a new synth.
God knows what synth I am going to buy.
