Yeeeeeeeeesssssssssss!!!Now i won’t sell my QuNeo and i’ll do some crazy **** with it + double the pads action-satisfaction!!!
Nice! This is exactly what I wanted to see. Basically I want to do the same with guitar and bass!
You have inspired me with the elegant OTB solution of thinking of the Live mainly as your studio in a box. After mulling things over, I’m going to get the Live first, learn how to use it properly as my main DAW over the summer and then add the Digitakt in fall or winter as my main creative sampler. My god those two boxes next to each other would be a joy to look at and work with. Should be a very powerful combination. Please post some stuff on your YouTube channel when you get these. I love your music and it would be helpful to see how someone is creatively pairing these boxes together.
I hope other Elektron users also show how they are integrating the Live with Elektron gear. I want both not A or B.
Ok, that video from Jade shows its really simple to record. 8 Clips can play at a time? How does one shot sampling work ? Are they different from the assign perspective ? How does clip launching work ?As in Abelton ?
I am getting somewhat intrested after all.
Hmm , or not - if i see what essential things dont work yet. No real automation editing in standalone mode is really crap.
I see more and more Videos from Amateurs popping up on YT who have the MPC Live and do some jams with it. Is this thing already available outside Europe/Germany? And does anybody know why the heck that is?
Yeah they should have launched it in Germany cos that’s where all the Professionals live right? Bloody Amateurs!
Can you pm me?
thats exactly not what i wanted to say with that, but ok i got ya …
Am i the only one who hates touch screens?
ah, come on, please … first you blame me by insinuating that i think: germans are professionals and the rest of the world is not … and to top that you throw an image of the one and only person - who is the best example for how to NOT do politics - in here right after that … ok, im depressed now, you killed my ego …
btw: just checked, it is indeed released in america. i cannot place an order though - every shop says: doesnt currently ship to germany … meeeeeh
So I am thinking of getting an MPC live now…
My plan is to run the MPC2.0 software as a plugin inside NI Maschine and then run Maschine as a VST inside the new Prophead Reason9.5 and then output the Reason audio through Rewire into Ableton.
My question is, will I be able to run Overbridge in the MPC software in this scenario?
I am on a 2005 macbook with 32gb hard drive, 1gb RAM and osx panther.
you are completly on the right course.
that is how it is done
run it in a virtual environment, in windows emulating the mac os.
that will do
That is a good idea… but will the windows emulator be able to recognize my soundcard? I need low latency audio to come out of Ableton so I can record it properly into my Tascam 414 portastudio cassette recorder. Then I can send my prefect demo tape out to all the record companies.
Stupid Merkel! Choosing a lager when there are clearly Hefe-Weizens available.
don’t worry, legoworld had to develop a tape smearing plugin to get the same result as you…
I think of getting a cow for all my moo samples…and for more cowbells.
to put this back on track. first real world usage of the mpc…
looks good so far…
and I am happy that there are mpc videos without the mention of “f…ck”… I am impressed.
Musiciansfriend.com has them in stock right now and they ship international. Just be warned you are buying an american AC adaptor with flat prongs.
I made a whole album all within the little MPC500. With its small screen, I used it like a DAW and the process was similar to a DAW too because all the tools are there from copy/paste, panning, volume, filtering etc. It was a refreshing experience to do it all on one little box🎹
