This is one of my alltime favourites. Spent months/years finding out all the different gear pictured. And after that it took another year or two to realize that the synths also make up the artist name and the album title. Would love to find this on vinyl just to put on display.

well, i would say the opposite – not surprisingly.
i consider Giger the greatest visual artist of all times, though his art is obviously not for everyone.

Guns n Roses - Appetite For Destruction original album cover was very cool. I won’t post it as it got replaced due to the rape scene, but the artwork was out there and sets up some of the album’s grim scenes.

Rage Against The Machine’s first album, with the Buddhist monk setting himself on fire was visually stunning too, coming from an original event in history.
A protest album.

The pictures tell a thousand words, but might be too grim to post on the forum.
