Most iconic album covers

Man. For me in middle and high school it was CD cases, but dang. I do kind of miss really having that case to stare at while listening and letting the vibes sink in.

I’m not going to get into collecting them or records, but I acknowledge it’s a fading art. Nice that’s even in this streaming age that tying an artwork or photo to music still seems to hold importance.

I still fall asleep listening to albums like back then but I make it maybe a track or two before I fade away.

Shig, I’m just kind of sharing my favorites that stick out in my head. I don’t know their stories.

2000s indie music and bands probably haven’t aged that well, but they sure produced some iconic covers:

This has to be the most iconic cover ever. It’s being knocked off to this day, and 95% of the people wearing t-shirts based on it probably couldn’t name a single joy division song.

Haha, I was once listening to Unknown Pleasures with a Spotify window open at work and one of the juniors came over and asked what band that was because he used to have it on a t-shirt.

Anyway, I’ve bought one of these for the Christmas party -
