They borrowed the Modulation depth from UDO.
half-way through the Mylar video and I gotta say this thing is pretty sick. things I like that make it pretty interesting:
- wave folding combined with wave shape modulation
- multiple filter types including band pass, which I love; Iâve never had it in a Moog before (likely thereâs one with it I donât know of thoughâŚ?)
- bass compensation and feedback in the filter combined with the various filter types sounds really great and will be fun to explore
- oscillator modulation of the filter in a synth is always awesome, and again you have the various filter types/options to combine that with
- the âassignâ modulation options allow you to modulate any control on the panel, and there are four sources for this: LFO1, keys, ENVâs 1+2
- expression input will allow you to assign CV input modulation of any panel control
- keyboard S+H can modulate any panel control
- parameter locking of the sequencer can modulate any panel control
so yeah⌠quite impressive options! and Iâm really impressed with what Iâm hearing so far. I thought at first âeww they made a BassStation style Moogâ with all the damn printing on the front and hidden options. but in use it seems quite intuitive.
also - and this may sound lame - but I like that they arranged the presets the way that they did, into banks of âlikeâ sounds, instead of just scattered all over. especially given that this may be many peopleâs first proper synth.
It sounds nice and I think itâs great theyâre going in that direction. If I was thinking about a band synth or had the space for one âalways on the deskâ synth that I could also use as keys, this could be it.
Not a fan of synths without any displays at all still. I think it handles it okay, but itâs still too complex not to make things more confusing at times and forcing you to look up the manual. Also always come to the same conclusion now that I have a Nina: using patches on a synth like this is just cumbersome and confusing.
Feedback pre-Filter.
Sounds great, but doesnât beat the GM for me. Misses that vintage quality, which is fine, but itâs what I like. Probably because it doesnât use the CP3-style mixer?

Got the $900 price right.
Theyâre not all everyones cup of tea, but what impresses me is the tremendous range in this synth.
His ( edit ) two voice duophonic trick is nice. And the external overdrive ( and potentially other things ) is nice too.
Quite a wide range of sounds are possible.
I could take this over my Sirin but the portability/footprint of the Sirin makes it a keeper. Itâs a very good sounding and interesting Mono Synth, though. I canât say I wonât buy it.

Ok, now that Iâve seen how modulation assigning works, this is a really cool synth especially for the price. Mixer doesnât saturate which is a bummer but the feedback more than makes up for that.
This looks dope. I couldnât justify purchasing it without selling something to make room, but man⌠the convenience of patching without needing patch cables, like how every one of the Moogs I own is, is extremely tempting lol.
I didnât realize the world needed 12 hours of ads for this to drop simultaneously. But here we are.
Would be an instant buy for me if it didnât have a keyboard.
