Monomachine experimental music

hmmm nothing comes to mind, I love the MNM for the workflow. Nothing else I’ve used so far compares. The sounds I get out of it is a by-product, I really just enjoy the workflow of it - I can sketch ideas pretty quickly and it’s fun

Yeah id love to grab one its a unique unit…not heard anything else create the tones ive heard from just one machine…maybe one day!
Im trying to incorporate at least a tiny vibe by using mnm samples and single cycles into the octa and using neighbour tracks and its digital fx to at least pay a kind of homage to the mnm…obviously not synthesis but a sample based twist on it lol
Keep the music coming its very fresh and exciting superb sounds and tones…i love the old school dubstep of VEX’d and Milanese and the monomachine kind of is that sound and era in a box (amongst many others like early rave and much more).

Could i ask you is your music usually around 140bpm?
Its awesome stuff…have you done any live sets with the mnm?
I did a live set with just a rytm mkii once just 20 mins but was a proper buzz!!!
Got any new tunes in the works? :fire::fire::fire:

Thanks Rob! yeah a lot mostly around 128-140 bpm. I’ve been working on a monomachine live set thing for a couple years - pigs.fm 1, releasing a couple tracks as singles so far but eventually debuting the whole thing in/as a live it.

As far as new music I just released a collab EP called Parking Big, features monomachine stuff as well.

Please share your rytm works with me as well. I eventually want to get a few more elektron gears. It will be dope to see what you’ve been cooking on there.

Yeah man heard most of your work including the latest colab ep which is superb!
I use the Octatrack now as i cant afford a Monomachine lol
Its not true synthesis which id love…but i use samples of the bbox machine and only uneffected pure single cycle wave samples of the other machines on the mnm.
The OT while different is prob the closest in terms of track layout with neighbours etc and digital fx and filters…its all good fun and allows me to be creative in a different way but with a tip of the hat to the Monomachine.
I got an insta called WODWO loads of bits on there of recent and older jams.

Bit late to the party on this one. Fantastic as ever. Love molecules….

Very cool tunes. Is this a raw unprocessed MnM? These pads and keys in the second track… not immediately available (or I haven’t used such sounds :{ I also replaced the single-cycle waves)

Here are two tracks I made too long ago with some MnM. I’ll come back to it, soon I hope!

I’d make an instructional video if I had a monomachine again. My birthday is soon. cough cough

Thank you!

Quite a few of you awesome cats were asking about my monomachine sounds… I miss my MnM sounds, so I’m pushing into the territory with a QY100.
