Modest OT feature requests

You can. LFO to velocity.

You can. Use an LFO to mod the depth of another one. Ramp up shape synced to trig will fade in the other LFO.

I just chain patterns for more steps and do live record mode myself.

I’d like to see if possible the ability to speed up the sample playback and give you a higher rate of playback for using the crossfader with the forward and backward playback knob. You could have normal speed forward at about quarter the way right and full high speed at the far right and same for the backward it can go slow backward quarter way and faster all the way left and of course slow to 0 at dead center.

One thing that I think could drastically improve the OT is easier handling of working with pitched samples, for drums and loops it is quite ok, but for making melodies in the old school sampler sense, it is a bit less than ideal I think.

It would be nice to have a new machine type that is just for melodic stuff, with easy p-locking of note values across the whole midi range (0-127) with note numbers and names. Maybe the 6 encoders could be note, pitch offset course, pitch offset fine, portamento on/off, portamento depth, portamento speed.

Thinking: This could be a software tool? A VST in Ableton or something.

I really would love having part selection in arranger

I really really wish OT didn’t clear the flex record buffers when rearming a track.
It makes slicing live audio result in drop outs which is a real buzz kill.

Is it a bug? If you can overdub flex recordings it makes me think changing to just overwrite at the point the record head reaches the playhead could be done.

Plz elektron can we get a fix

yes, the dreaded 2 octaves are my main sampling gripe as well.
your suggestions sounds great…throw in some loop-crossfade and everybody’s happy

There is already an OT feature request thread, this thread is totally unnecessary:
