i also got a model:cycles and made some patterns… just recorded this one via usb to phone - very convenient.
i think the new elektron is very immediate and instant fun, comparable to novation circuit in that aspect

I do like the drum sounds coming out of it so far though.

Yeah, bass is well defined, and hf are silky, and has nice presence at the same time. Digital rules, i have been using the wrong synthesis for 15 years haha
