Linnstrument here but no mm2 - if you’re struggling to find anyone hit me up as my intention was to get one at some point… I could probably jump on that next round.

Thanks, I have enough people on board for mpe testing. It’s almost ready btw

Since we’re going to version 2.0… it being big… and almost ready…

You could spoil us on a daily basis with one new feature.

I’m not impatient! Not at all but but… would you? Please pretty please.

My focus is to publish it within a couple days, probably on Monday, then you can have fun and I can focus on producing the next batch for even more people to have fun

So: not enough days to reveal one feature per day

Sad the DoubleDrummer isn’t in production anymore.
Or might we be so lucky that there’s a v2 coming in the near future?

What portable drummachines/sample players would pair nicely with the MM2?

A quick search got me this:

  • Elektron Model Samples
  • Novation Circuit Tracks/Rhythm
  • Korg Volca Sample
  • 1010Music Blackbox
  • Roland TR-6S

edit: I mostly lean towards the Circuit Rhythm for it having 2 inputs with side chain compressing.
Already own the LPP MK3 so having the same workflow would make good sense as well.

Depends on your definition of ā€œportableā€ but I use mine with a Polyend Tracker, both plugged into a two port USB battery, and I love it.

I wouldn’t take it out on the bus, but it’s great for moving room-to-room or maybe hanging out in a coffee shop (if those still existed).

Never used trackers, but I do know I don’t like Excel so not sure me and Poly T will match very well.
Was hoping to score a Nord Drum 2 but those seem to be prices higher than the Nord Drum 3.
Maybe I can find a DoubleDrummer on Reverb or Ebay. How many of those were there ever sold?

The Blackbox is a great pairing. Like the circuit, it also can act as the sequencer for the 2 MM2 timbres, and it can also capture the audio (1 stereo in, 3 outs) with compression (no side chaining). It’s way more than a simple drum machine - great combo.

Edit: In/outs corrected

@acidhouseforall?

The Blackbox has a lot to offer. I like that it does multi stereo sampling.
It doesn’t have 3 stereo inputs though, just 1.

Thanks for the correction - I’ve updated. I only just got the Blackbox myself last week :grimacing: but have enjoyed it with the MM2

Nice update :+1: I would love to get one of these in the next batch but I live in the UK. Do you have any advice on how to get one since your Web site says you won’t ship to the UK?

What an update! I’m excited for all of it, but super excited about the new FM, unipolar LFOs, and MPE support.

Thanks for the hard work you continue to invest in this amazing synth!
