Michigan Synth Work MSW-820

Looks like an instant buy for me, I love the compact design and am sure it will sound great. Currently have a MSW Xena on the “pedalboard” paired with the DTII but will probably replace it with the 820 for more hands-on tweaking.

Looks fantastic! I need an analog monosynth like I need a hole in my roof but if i were in the market I’d be gassing hard for this.

I was really holding out for the 830. This does look great, but I certainly don’t need it. However, if this lil guy was 4 or 6 Roland inspired voices, it’d be an insta buy for me. I hate dragging my 106 out of the house and would love one in this form factor.

You might know already but you can normally get a Mutable Instruments Ambika for a very decent price second hand.

Btw this is not mine I’m trying to sell (I’d posted in reply to another thread) :grinning: I’ve just bought one and really into it.

Thanks for the replies. Being more similar to the Roland layout, the 820 UI appeals to me much more. The Ambikas are very cool, though. My wallet is safe another day.

What a terrible choice of color.

But then you could use this matching carrying case.

I absolutely love it!

The problem with these colors is that they look kinda stupid next to all of the other lame black gear.

It should fit with an OG DN.

same! I love sliders and the MSW stuff looks dope and fun! Pair with hexdrums for some rad beats.

You monster - now I wanna know what a DN with 4 same colored buttons looks like. Anyone have four DNs to try out?
