Machinedrum + analog filter/overdrive - experience

Huum interesting !! it look what i want. Don’t know it, i will looking !
You tested it with MD or drum machine ?

No, I didn’t try that. But I’m using the Alpha Omega all the time for every bass track I record. I’m also using the Neural DSP Darkglass Ultra Plugin in addition to that. Love the Darkglass/NeuralDSP products, and have most of them.

I found the Alpha Omega to be one of the most versatile overdrive / distortion units for bass and it would be my first candidate to try for anything else (excpet for maybe running the signal through a guitar tube amp stack). The two different distortion circuits of the AO really have a different character and blending them will cover a large range of different distortion flavors from raw gnarl to screechy scream.

Thanks  i will look !

The Aira Torcido recommendation up thread is on point. Stereo, very flexible, sounds great, and is affordable. Very underrated unit, I assume because it’s digital.

Point taken! All the distortion boxes I know are Mono, because they’re generally used for a mono source like a guitar or bass.

Sorry, didn’t think of that.
