Machina Bristronica

Kit custonizable MIDI controllers. Very reasonable expense on these. You build it and customize the software yourself.

These are standardized arrangements, but they can do some amount of customization too, like painting the case. It reminds me of Yaeltex in a way though not quite as specially custom.

Slow but very steady. The betas fly in quickly and if you’re on the discord you can try them out whenever. But when the official release comes it works perfectly.

The team are also all on there and chatting consistently (not random announcements every few weeks I’m talking daily) which is very nice and kind of makes up for the slower feature releases since you almost feel like you’ve got a hand in the direction it goes.

I don’t hate this approach as unorthodox as it is, but equally it was incredible before any updates. It also makes me not stress about the Tonverk situation since I know it’s going to come good regardless
(though as a whole I would love more direct engagement from Elektron vs public announcements, but that’s a different topic).

Damn that’s awesome… maybe time to hold off on any new keyboard synths for a year or 2 until something using this hits the market.

I just noticed that Frap Tools also was a late scratch and got pulled from the list.

Diode-01 from AMSynths

Analog monosynth, combined functions of a Roland System 101/102 being developed.

Later in the video, they look at some more of the 2500 modules under way at AMSynths.

Two got removed – one got added, that’s not on the list.

Enjoy Electronics, with the ELFO.

Wow though start of the week. I just love the vibe in there. @PeteSasqwax you’re too kind to see me as a friend after dragging you into modular abyss ahah

Besides dragging sharing patch cables, I’ve seen so many cool stuff there. I’ll just share a few snaps here.

if you wanna see the teletext in action: Pilkafa on Instagram

First time had the chance to play with bugbrand, it was so fun to play.

Also, first time seeing a fried sandwich

It was my first time in Bristol, so I have to share my only Gromit spotting. Would have loved to visit the pop up store but it was quite far.

I’ll be there next year again for sure.

Had a long and sweet with @TomWhitwell chat about development of workshop system, snagged a discount code from @thonk too. They had a super cool oscilator graphic display on as well but I didn’t took a photo of it.

Also, if anyone knows artist who did that amazing teletext, can you please let me know? I’d love to give credit to him. I also had a quick chat with him but forgot to ask his name :frowning:

We got to have a play with the TiNRS Bink keybed and it feels amazing! It’s totally mechanical and has adjustments for the keyfeel.
