They sell kits to create yor own MIDI controllers. You can pick from a range of designs. They really do a lot of designs the arcade buttons. These might be nice for performance

Kit custonizable MIDI controllers. Very reasonable expense on these. You build it and customize the software yourself. It reminds me of Yaeltex in a way though not quite as specially custom.
