There are some nice dark timbres going on throughout. Is this a single recording of A4? Itā€™s sounds like a lot more/multitracking.

Thanks ! It is a single recording. I used a lot the parameter locks to have some different sounds following each other on the same track.

Since itā€™s a single recording you meet my greatest admiration for such a work of programming.
I really dig the ā€œonly hardwareā€ productions. My preference in music. It asks so much work and reflexion to achieve a good album.
Even if the music style is not really my cup of tea, I must say Bravo, great work.

Bought. Beerā€™s on me !

This album humbles me quite a bit.
:aw:
:heartbeat:

Itā€™s very impressive, makes me feel like I need to go back to the A4 and dig deeperā€¦

Really great release and impressive for only using 4 analog voices to create it
I always find having fewer parts/voices at your disposal encourages creativityā€¦

Yes the creativity can be feeded by constraints, here it push to simplify and to keep the essential.

Very impressive and inspirational. And also a great demo that shows what the A4 is capable of.

yea! Still good.

Iā€™ve heard a whole room full of synths and sequencers not sound this good.
Every tool is a weapon if you hold it right!

was before i joined the board just listened.

im intrigued how the analog 4 created those dirty snare/cymbal sounds, is it just distortion/filtering/envelopes on a a very fat wave form? this album has the old gears turning

Thanks Again !

For the snares, if i remember well, i used noise+filtering+ lfo on filter

This is absolutely mind-blowing stuff !!
I think the music as well as the cover art (face in the trees) is amazing and speaks to the imagination.

Hats off to you and I canā€™t imagine how much time this has taken to get this music out of the A4 alone. Hence, if somebody told me this is a new Front 242 album I would believe it with no question asked and I mean that in the best way possible

No wonder Elektron had this featured on Facebook once.

Would love to hear/see some more details about how this was made and if you have more please share!
