iPad Music Apps?

I am using a Lightning adapter (usb + headphones + charge) that disables iPhone’s mic when I plug headphones, which I don’t want. Any software workaround ? Does Apple adapter allows to keep iPhone’s mic on ?

I wouldn’t want to use an additional adapter.

(I have a standard Lightning to headphones adapter that doesn’t cut the mic, but I want usb for an Akai Mini…)

All this fuss about Move, and I’m still totally loving Note on my phone. The combo of immediacy + the ultimate portability of being always there, means it gets used in all those little bits of dead time waiting for the bus or whatever, when I probably would’ve just been scrolling through all the nonsense on here or staring at clouds. Caught myself making music crossing the street earlier, so it’s turning me into an idiot, but totally worth it. The best groovebox is the one you’ve got with you, etc

Move seems cool but I’m very happy with Note + Launchpad X on my iPad at home.

I think Ableton fucked up a bit giving Note 8 tracks. Massively enjoying the workflow, and I know there are workarounds, but at this point losing half the tracks has totally put me off getting the hardwear.

Also, despite the intended sketchpad usage of Note, it’s actually been really conducive to finishing stuff. The 8 scene x 8 track (with 16 bars) audio export is a great little pseudo song mode.

The Move would have been great as a straigthforward standalone/midi controller for Note (equivalent of P3 standalone but for Note instead of Ableton computer version)

Is it not possible to use Move with Note at all? Really surprised by that omission…

Totally agree. It’s the most productive by far I’ve been on any iOS app and in some ways even more productive than with my Elektron boxes.

I didn’t see a special compatibility mentioned, for instance if parameters synth are premapped to Move knobs or if clips can be launched from pads

Only got it too and really enjoying note app. Has anyone tried any Bluetooth midi with this? Amd yes I agree having 8 tracks here is just the right amount

Ah wow you’re the same Unbroken Dub who released on Rawax etc? I have a few of your tracks on 12”, lovely stuff  I look forward to trying out the app, what a shame that Apple’s system prevents people from publishing good apps for free

Yep, thats me  Nice to hear!

Awesome! I loved your release on Delsin too, used to play it a lot

Anybody knows a way to send USB audio in (Digitak2) to Bluetooth via iPhone or iPad?

Do you want to send Bluetooth audio to digitakt? Or to iPhone?

the UI here is bloody gorgeous. when I watch these videos I really start to ask myself why I’m still over here spending money on hardware instruments and staying broke literally all of the time.

I seriously need to just sell all of them, buy an iPad pro and move on with my life.

To Yamaha speakers ! :content:

I succeeded with AUM!

I had to select Bluetooth with AirPlay otherwise usb audio overrides Bluetooth selection.

Now I have Bluetooth Elektron gear… :sunglasses:

Strokes and Stacks are both absolutely incredible and genuinely worth owning an iPad for on their own (although desktop versions are also available!)
