are you still using it? I have a few questions about the app that maybe you can help me out with before I pull the trigger
I havenât been using this at all mate, so canât help unfortunatley
elliot garage segments is coming out tomorrow⌠seems to be a great sampler ⌠still pre order price available âŚ
also a great reverb : atmosphere cloud, just released yesterday
After getting the Moog Model D (Minimoog) for free, I decided to buy the Moog Model 15 modular synth. They both sound like the real deal, so if you want that Moog analog sound you wonât be disappointed. The Model 15âs arp can also be used as a sequencer. Although itâs a bit retro with only 8 steps, it still a lot of fun.
Looks a LOT like Serato Sample, no?
Might snap that one tonight, thx for the info.
Totally. But if Serato doesnât care much about iOS then someone else has to do it I guess
I thought it cant import your own samples?
Does it have key detection? I didnât look into it after hearing it couldnât import samples
- Here we are! sEGments slicer/sampler app is available for pre-order with an introductory price
https://app.elliottgarage.com/segments
With sEGments slicer/sampler app you can import any loop/sample/audio file and find the best samples inside it, using the automatic transient detection or manually adding markers.
You can play the slices with any MIDI external controller or with the builtin pads and keyboard layout; also each slice can be played chromatically as in a real synth with mono or polyphonic voices (up to 12).
Each slice has independent parameters (all automatable in any AU host), such as reverse, level, attack, release, start point and length and individual fxs (reverb, delay, bitcrusher and filter) that can be changed on the fly thanks to its flexible audio engine.
sEGments automatically detect BPM and root key of your audio file and it can adjust its tempo and pitch according to your project settings.
It can be used both in standalone or hosted as AudioUnit AU3 inside apps like GarageBand, AUM, BeatMaker3, NanoStudio2, n-Track9 and others, and it supports AU Multi-output.

Just got segments. Well laid out and easy to use. Really like it.
no idea
Segments interface is really nice
I just installed Fugue machine, which is a sequencer ith a piano roll and 4 playheads that can vary how they each play, quite a different approach to composition. Itâs also half price currently, highly recommended!
iam looking into Korg Module but iam not sure if the Piano is so much better compared to the ones in GarageBand!?
I need some insights
Yep, one of my favourite sequencers!
Another nice interface
