Introducing the e25 Remix Edition

I love them more every day! The only downside for me is that you can see fingerprints and dirt way faster than on the black ones. But they don’t swallow all the light in the room, which is more important to me.

Still love mines too. It’s looks like sci-fi starship. The screen is better in white. It fit well with OT.

Is it possible to change the encoders and buttons if one wishes? Can they be ordered from Elektron?

I‘m sure Elektron can provide you the buttons for the regular models of the digis if you send them a request. There’s examples of people who have already swapped the grey buttons and encoders on their E25 with black ones. Personally, I think the grey buttons and encoders are secretly the best thing about the E25 models.

I agree and i like the overall look of it but the dirt, what about the dirt
Tbh it bothers me

I only see it when I really want to see it, and a quick swipe with a microfiber should do the job. I haven’t cleaned mine since November and it looks fine. But that‘s subjective, of course. It doesn’t attract as much dust as the black ones, that’s the upside.

With a decksaver it stays clean

Mines are clean, just wash your hand before use and put a decksaver.
I read somewhere it better to not set the decksaver directly after use, because the sweat of your fingers are still on the buttons and it not dry well with the decksaver, leading to sticky buttons.

I have some sticky buttons on my old DT and I have always put the decksaver directly after use. So now, on my e25, I wash my hand before use and I wait some hours to perfectly dry before put the decksaver back.

I was not aware of that! Thanks for the info

This! … and waiting until it is cool again avoids condensation under the decksaver particularly with hotter machines like ST.

After roughly 25 years i finally managed to get myself a SiDSTATiON woohoo!!!
Richest man on earth right here :muscle::muscle:

Long long ago i wrote a desperate letter to Elektron practically begging if there would be a monthly payment option for buying the SiDSTATiON (i didn’t have the money then)

Last units sold out and i missed the boat.
But someone (who will regret it) sold me one!

Just got home from my journey to pick it up! need to go for some quick groceries first and not starve, but when i’m back oooh lala :muscle::muscle: i’ll have it ready for my travel back in time! A silly kid Elektron (sidstation) fanboy!

Cheers all !

Haven’t read the whole thread so this could be normal … bit if someone can help me pls

My e25 Syntakt came today from Thomann and:

  • it wasn’t in a plastic bag
  • the display is not at the same level as the upper plate; it seats firmly and evenly 1-2 mm above the plate
  • the plastic cover/film was not on the display
  • the surface of the display feels granulated/coarse when i run my fingers over it

It doesn’t bother me but i just wanted to know if it was like this with others.
My DN didn’t have any of these issues.

Thnx!

Jup :+1:

I really like the screen being a bit above the face plate actually :). And yeah the aluminium faceplate is brushed I think so that’s normal too.

Edit: Ah the surface of the display. Misread. That is not normal

Theses two are normal.
About the plastic bag, I don’t remember but I think there is a plastic bag.
The surface of the screen should not be granulated.

Thnx!

I managed to get rid of the granulation on the display, which was probably from tiny specks of dirt that I removed by vigorously scraping my nails; it didn’t come off easily!

and the box/package seemed to be opened; i guess everybody was aware of the gray function button

Still, no one from this site has found a silver function? This is a constant surprise to me every time a hear it. By the numbers, site members have a higher chance of finding and sharing the information about the discovery, so it makes me question whether there was a misinterpretation as to the conditions for finding the mysterious function button variants or if there is any official confirmation that they exist?

Maybe I missed something where there was an actual statement from Elektron?

I don’t think the boxes were ever sealed to be honest.

Maybe they are inside the machines.
They announce the serials and you open up your present.
