Silver Syntakt is the definitely the sexiest drum machine Iāve ever seenā¦
Weird to be mad about this when theyāve basically confirmed that a ST update is coming soon! I think the white on silver is super ugly but happy for Elektron celebrating their 25th

Only ~60 digitakt and digitones left, about 75 Syntakts left on the Elektron Store. Iām sure most stock went to retailers but seems to be selling well considering all the grumpy entitled comments here.
Some five-minute photoshops: e25 edition DT with buttons & knobs from the original, or with just the buttons (knobs are already kind of grey so not much difference between the two)

A difference in the new plates for all 3 instruments that I didnāt notice until combing through them pixel by pixel and that I donāt see mentioned elsewhere in the thread:
- All of the control labels for the e25 machines are in ALL CAPS, much like older MD and MM boxes.
Probably not a dealbreaker but I prefer the way the sentence case labels feel on the standard editions.

I congratulate the owners of this forum on their birthday and wish them, no matter what, to remain more humane and develop their humanity even while in the environment of machines Iām glad that digitone was re-released - for me this means hope for improved firmware! Just like in the Vedic tradition, gifts are not given to the birthday boy, but the birthday boy himself gives gifts to his friends, family and loved ones - so we still expect real gifts from the celebrant of the occasion

This should have been the version. Nice contrast. Those white buttons is a big NOPE. Just unreadable. Unless youāll have it as a show off piece in the glass gasket mounted on the wall next to some painting.
Similar feeling with the latest Call of Duty, neither will get my money.
Also what hints to new legacy machines is that Syntakt with all of its existing machines doesnāt sound anything like the MD or MNM at all so if the Silver should not just be an optical gimmick there has to come something. And people are screaming for month, so elektron knows what they want. If they just make them shiny but not capable, I donāt knowā¦I am pretty hopeful.
