Simon, can you confirm what the resale policy will be for Overbridge Premium - if I decide to resell my DT, can I sell / transfer my OB Premium licence to the new owner? Is the license locked to the DT or the computer and if it is the latter, how many activations are available to OB Premium customers?

So I haven’t seen anything having to do with pattern-changes.
I assume you hit the “PTN” button and the change patterns via the numbered keys. Ok, I guess that’s obvious.
How about playback modes? I don’t see a “direct change” button. Perhaps (hopefully) we can change playback modes (a la AR/A4) somewhere.

it might be very fun to sample/sequence CV signals of any sort, which would only work if the physical inputs/outputs are DC coupled… it’s a stretch!
could work through OB and a DC audio interface tho (Expert Sleepers…), I guess?

How about some more audio demos?
I’d want a manual just so I can figure out more basic info about the DT. For instance, it wasn’t immediately obvious to me that the DT will most likely not have the ability to apply effects to a sound until it is a sample being played back from a track. I was picturing sequencing a synth while applying the DT’s reverb to it. I don’t know what “master” will offer; and this thing is supposed to ship within weeks? I just want to have a better idea of what I bought lol.
Only Elektron knows. These guys don’t say a word of what’s going on even to their distributors. I pre-ordered mine months ago and the delivery it’s been delayed every week with no information about the problem. To be honest, this is my first Elektron machine, and I’m already very unhappy and disappointed with the way they treat their customers… At least, we deserve a reason why they don’t deliver the digitakts on time. I don not want a Beta machine or something that has been sold before they actually finish with the product. Good marketing though!
there’s no “on time” here. elektron never gave an exact date as they didn’t know themselves when they would have the OS finished. completely understandable.
any dates you see in shops are pure speculation on the part of the shop.
give elektron a break. I really hope they ship really soon but I don’t resent them for having to wait, not one bit. because no one is to blame, and there’s nothing to blame anyone for.
you guys sayin they’ve let you down etc are dillusional. if i was elektron I’d ban yiz all from buying me products (granted my company probably wouldn’t last too long but). just be happy an amazing machine is being released very soon, you should count yourselves lucky. I certainly do.

It’s all pretty standard. Mpc Live was delayed, Deluge was delayed, Deepmind was delayed, digitakt is delayed, Op1 OS update was delayed, albums get delayed, everything gets delayed… That’s how it goes with nearly all things that are made public before they’re finished.
Better to have it stable and wait than have it rushed out just because orders have been placed. Most/all stores will refund if you don’t want to wait…
Along with the manual and the box, they should release a third thing when the digitakt releases: An in depth article with a timeline that describes what Elektron company has been going through in the development of this machine since they announced it. Because based on this 5000+ comment section, the delays, lack of information, the hype, and some things cenk said in the demo vids, I can only assume at this point things got pretty treacherous. I’d be really interested to know what it was like inside Elektron these past 5 or so months.

Didn’t Simon just confirm that DT’s are shipping this month, and don’t we already have photos/videos of people who have their hands on them? It’s ok to let us know all the details now imo.
