Itās been a few weeks. Has anyone compared the AHFX with the Generation Loss MK2 already?
Probably not the feedback youād expect considering your genre but I get Kanye West āOn Sightā vibes from this!

I donāt have a Gen Loss but I followed it closely.
The Gen Loss is definitely a much more complex tape emulator.
What is it you were hoping to find out?
I have both. Totally different beasts

Thatās what I had figured.
Although the Warble on the AH is neat to have, itās probably the least exiting effects on the device.
Iām planning on getting both, but from my understanding, the Generation Loss has more āinformation degradationā where the AHFX is just āwarbleā with no ālossā

Itās finest have a ālossā but definitely a dirt or grit param that similar to added hiss or degradation
I just set the reverb on the Digitakt to the same settings as the default settings of the AH+, and to me it sounds identical.

I want know how close they are alike but not with extreme settings just with a subtle amount.
They seem like two different approaches to tape emulation.
From what I gather about the Genloss, itās just as much different from the Heat as it is the Deco.
Sonically they are pretty different form one another.
Getting one would not be like having another.
Yes, the analog inputs and USB input can be used simultaneously.
You can also configure where your USB input will be inserted in the audio routing flow. When using CC MODE with INSERT or PRE, the USB output will be effected by the AH FX. When using POST or BYPASS the USB audio is sent āas isā.

I think youāre right I just wanted to hear them side by side anyways hehe.
Guess because I really like the GLMK2 I thought I could maybe skip it by getting the AHFX.

one might be able to get close considering all the stuff AH+ has besides Warble. Drive, EQ, Filter ā¦ and one can control the parameters of warble with one of the LFO ā¦

Not really. It does not have a mixer function or something like that. But you can of course set / adjust the volume on the input devices (ipad and external) themselves.

Iāve been trying to use the Heat+FX in Ableton Live. I donāt see the vst anywhere.
Installed the latest version of Overbridge a few times. I even installed all of the various Elektron machines, including ones I donāt have.
I see the Heat, but no Heat + FX
What am I missing?
Just to make sure: AHFX is in Ob mode ?
Uninstalled OB completely, then reinstall without AHFX being plugged into the computer?
