i hardly complain about elektron products as i have many of them but adding FX to this seems like they could have added more knobs changed lay out so its better for live. i am sure it has a preformace mode with the 4 menu knobs …

I’ve found the tape emulations to be pretty limiting and annoying tbh and see them as more of a bunch of different eq settings which I don’t particularly love and all the tape warble/chorusing I only really like in subtle settings.
I find tape emulation is best used by using actual tape lol

I agree that the effect is overused but when used with care I feel it can provide a sound or track so much more character.

Can you choose presets with program change numbers on the AH+FX?
I just assume you can.

I’ve been eyeballing the Benidub for a while now. Plus thinking about a reverb for my mixer.
With the AH+FX I could get both of those things, replace my FMR RNC and Deco.
This would definitely tighten up my desk, and give me the stereo filtering and all that jazz in one unit.
Simplify the way I use FX but that might be a good thing. Having a sort of master fx box.
I’m stoked.
And place the FXs in the order you want without any hassles.

Here’s a modular synth jam session processed with the AHFX.
I’m sequencing the modular with the Syntakt, 3 voices from the modular, drums and a few voices from the ST.
