and revert (no undo per se) at speed too - it’s quick for ideas testing and it makes a huge difference where things are in the chain and how you can tweak their respective ‘wet’ levels at ease
this is a hands-on dream for inspiration and very much more than the sum of its parts … especially with all the modulation/following possibilities controlling familiar digital fx in novel ways

I had AH MKI, wanted to try BOUM; this new AH is appealing for sure…

Not worth the upgrade for me personally
I mainly use my mk2 to bring some warmth (or heat?) to software synths via laptop or ipad. Which means i have all the vst/auv3 fx to choose from
The analog distortion and filters do seem to provide a sound that digital counterparts I’ve tried can’t emulate
When I saw the 4 connectors in the back I thought: “Yay the mixer section of the OT, this is awesome since I already have a Digitakt” but no… 
I don’t disagree with this in general, it’s just the 8 flavors of distortion that I don’t have a personal need for. YMMV.
I guess my mk1 is at least worth a packet of chips now.

Looks cool! I like Elektron’s building-blocks approach to FX design, and this looks like it could do some really interesting things. It seems like rigging it up with an expression pedal and a midi controller with scene presets queued up could be very powerful…
Prefer octatrack 3, tbh. This is a very Tim Cook apple elektron move.
