I think that means you are on an older firmware than most of us because you dont have the update option in the menu… are you doing this to get it into the update mode?
Have you reached out to Intellijel support? I’ve always received excellent and quick support from them.
This is the way forward. The firmware update option didn’t come out until the USB extender came out. 1.3.5 I think?
I have followed those instructions thanks.
I have reached out to Intellijel support but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. Thanks
I have the gx expander for it, anyone see how that works with the new case? I’m sure it’s posted somewhere but I can’t seem to find it…
The GX information is now expressed in midi and cc information. No room in the case for the GX.
The GX expander explicitly does NOT work if you’re using the Solo case – the i2c expander in the back of the Metropolix is occupied by a connection in the Solo case.
Correct
Please bring conversion kit in EU stores
it’s available to any of our dealers, the stores can order.
I got hyped (lots of GAS) for a Cascadia and it led me to the Metropolix Solo… wow it looks amazing. Hope it will come to a Swedish or EU retailer soon
Think I’m gonna have to give this a try finally in the Solo enclosure. @slowwild any inside info on when Perfect circuit might be getting more stock?
I don’t think US retailers have seen any units yet.
ah makes sense, thanks pal! I’ve seen them around but I guess people been getting them direct
Yes, I think that’s the case. Unfortunately the shipping costs for a direct purchase shipped to the US are inordinately high; unless you’re rearing to go just wait for Perfect Circuit or B&H to get their stock. Shouldn’t be long now I’d think.
Hehe, that’s not my department, but even then, obviously wouldn’t comment on specifc dealer orders. In general for any gear, best to contact your dealer and ask them to stock what you are looking for, they do the ordering of course.
Hope you can scoop one soon! I love having it always on my desk.
I ordered a solo enclosure from my local L&M in Canada. They have no idea when things will arrive (or any knowledge of modular in general) - as long as it’s here by fall we’re all good.
Can’t wait to build some melodies on Cascadia and DT2
For EU I think elevator sound already has them in stock
And if you’re thinking of getting it from Volt Music Store, then don’t… they actually don’t have them in stock despite their claim. Last time I’d be buying from them…
I was thinking about it since they have it and looks like a very good price and seems to be a legit place. Now I might reconsider. Thanks for heads up.
What was your issues with them besides not showing actual stock! How was your experience if you contacted them? They have a very expensive shipping but still the best price I have seen.
