I can confirm its 1.01 , on the website it says 1 but if you go to downloads its 1.01 (no changelog). Mine came with 1.01 installed.
My software editor wasn’t connecting properly so I re-installed the 1.01 and then it worked so if you have anew/second hand un it and have any issues this may be worth doing, its fast and easy.
I saw this too and now I’m trying to justify buying another mono, already having a Typhon and a Toraiz AS-1, which I hardly use. It’s very tempting at this price and I was already considering buying the previous version, because I really liked how it sounds in the demos I’ve seen. But it looks even uglier than the old version imo and the buttons and knobs look very cheap. And I’ve also told myself that I shouldn’t buy things just for the sound anymore, because I probably won’t us it much.
The knobs are very solid and overall it’s better made that the original one. It’s a very versatile synth with tons of features and now available at a great price.
I still think its a great and immediate synth. I’ve moved over to mostly using my MFB Dominion Club because its raw tone is so good, but there’s a lot you can do with the UNO Synth Pro X.
I’ve been thinking about switching out my Circuit Mono Station for a while as the USPX has been on my radar. Having just spent an hour watching videos on it, I hadn’t realised how much more fully featured it is. Couldn’t resist picking one up for £202 at Thomann.
I might have snagged their last one. It was listed as “available at short notice (usually 2-5 days)” and my order has gone through at £202. So I don’t expect Thomann to change the price on me now, since that’s the price they took my payment details for.
However when I look now it says it’s “no longer available”.
