Now that I’m thinking about this I really wish it was implemented. Even a relatively constrained version would be a great improvement. And then if there was “track pattern chaining”.
Also, I think there’s a button combo on modern Elektrons to shift a track one step forwards or backwards, right? (I don’t currently own any so can’t quite remember) but messing with this would be pretty cool while remaining in a single pattern.
On the Digis, it’s Grid mode FUNCTION + left or right arrow keys.
And on the Rytm. I think it’s on the Octatrack too.
There is! In one of the record modes, iirc. I don’t remember the combo offhand though.
I loved that sequencer and I do miss it. I also liked how it would record and playback sysex data in a track, too.
Hi, Digitakt manual states:
‘All trigs of a track can be shifted forwards or backward on the sequencer. While in GRID RECORDING mode, hold down [FUNC] while pressing the [LEFT] or [RIGHT] arrow keys to perform the trig shift.’
EDIT: I actually should use it on tops to get more happy accidents.
Hey,
I guess I’m not alone then with this
Where this makes sense for me:
I like to use fills, thats cool!
With pattern per track you could make fills for every track. In Bitwig you can define behaviours of a clip: like “do not loop”, instead if you’ve run through: go back to previous clip
Hell yeah, thanks!
