HW DEALS : Hardware on Sale [no private listings]

Admittedly, guitar. Haven’t a/b tested them against say, the much cheaper Valhalla plugins either. Could be rose-tinted spectacles but the WET algorithm in particular was like a super flexible reverb. Could go from a small room to the temples of the gods. Loved the soft switches as well, the Seraphim was the first pedal I used that you could choose to hold down for the momentary shimmer effect.

Yeah I was just watching a video by Pete Thorn using it. It sure does sound pretty good. The Illumine that is. Thanks for the personal testaments.

Lol, “Only At Sweetwater!”
Wonder if you could resell it as “modded”?

Other than the 24 RGB buttons on the panel, and the -10 +10 underneath the central screen, and 4 missing knobs for adjusting values, is there any difference to the desktop version? Is it the exact same synth, with just a bit more menu diving?

It’s the same synth.

Bad deal. Forget the mess this will inevitably make in 5-10 years when it starts to peel, I’ll never get the damn thing on straight in the first place.

As a One owner, I can confirm that- like every other synth I have- if I need to plug something in back there I put off for 6 months before finally biting the bullet and pulling out the manual to see where the port I need is, plug the cable into the wrong port 3-5 times, and give up a few hours later. Just like any other synth, really. Decal Schmecal.

For me it’s been the absence of a backplate decal from the Moog One’s original design that has kept me from buying this at release. Genius move by Sweetwater, and now where they have fixed this obvious, glaring design flaw I can finally order two right away so I can play one with each hand.

I prefer to play both with my toes so I may strum my guitar as accompaniment.

I thought this might interest someone - basl kastle is a bastl kastle 1.5 clone - this guy on etsy had something else that I was interested in a while ago and I went back to check his shop because he makes random small run projects and he had done this. it’s like $96 including the cost of shipping.

includes something like 10 mini modular cables and can use aaa batteries for power.

Hipster Behringer must have been taken :joy:

I did not realize Kastle was released as an open source project.

It’s on an open license?

Even if you’re playing each with only one hand, probably still best to make them both the 16-voice. Can’t have those release tails getting voice-stolen.
