I’m going to try to participate! I need some motivation to learn my DTII
Limiting myself to exploring only samples from tracks sampled in this album (not much a limit

A little over a week left guys! The battle will close sunday next week. How is everyone doing?
I have a total of 6 tapes in by now, so there’s a lot of beats to be checked out already. The more the better so keep em coming!
Just came back from a week long work retreat. Getting the SP1200 out of the flight case now . I’ll submit on the 15th
I think I’ll have to forfeit, I’m not quite (well, not at all) at a point in my new dad life where I can make music… the little one has put us through some rough evenings and nights lately.
Hang in there, we’ve all been there. It’s very frustrating to give up music during this time, but it will pass.
Personally, I stopped for almost 3 years after the arrival of my second son 
I’ll finish and send mine by the deadline, Ive just got to do one more beat.
Ouch, 3 years… May the music gods have mercy on me lol.
2 beats done. I dont know if I will have time to make a third one, but I’m pretty sure I will have something to share
Took a little break after jamuary but got a couple things started today

I haven’t started yet as I had to deal with botched windows update on my studiio computer. Everything seems to be back to normal now, so hopefully I can get to sampling tonight. 
Ok, finally got started. It’s gonna cut close as the kids are sick, but I will have something.
Is it too late to send beats in? I finally got something cooking on this last night and have a decent Saturday morning (cartoons) jam going. Trying not to be too precious with it and get it done before noon.

i think you’re good: “the battle will close sunday”. So you have until the end of sunday is how i read it too.
Unfortunately need to bow out, have 2 beats done for this but haven’t had the time to polish and get into a beat tape format.
Really looking forward to hearing the tapes though!
I see 15th and immediately thought that was the last day for submission, but I am gonna start finishing up now and I’ll send in the next few hours if that’s still ok
