lol - yeah I wouldn’t say categorically it’s a tedious instrument, front panel is wonderful. More the cursor section, arrows to navigate, shift functions. Also coming from inexperience and lack of time with it. I skip manuals and reference them after, maybe an ADHD thing.
Hi Stammusik. Saw your report about crashes. We here at Tasty Chips take crashes very seriously, and prioritize them above anything else when releasing new firmware. If you can describe the crash to me, so that we can reproduce (maybe with a video) that would help us massively, and then we’ll fix it in the next firmware (1.4.2). You can also try to upgrade to 1.4.1 (released yesterday) and see if this solves your issues. We’re always available at info@tastychips.nl. Thanks!
Would you be able to create a synced actual looper from it ? So it syncs to the beat and capture 64 steps, and apply a slice grid to the buffer? Is there a limit of sampling time ? (the slices could surly be randomized with an LFO.) The only question is if it can do octatrack like live sampling, and buffer manipulation.
I wonder the fader it has - if that also got a “scene” feature (to setup macros and blend between them) it could be 2025 octatrack.
I just found out about this synth /sampler today, as i saw it in one of the posts here on elektronauts.
Nice to see another project in Rust be used for something. Been trying to learn the language myself.
Tonverk before Toneverk post … aged well
Given the fact that Mega is the same price as Tonverk . . I am considering one … I always liked how Fear Ratio and James Ruskin’s used theirs for a to their techno sets . . 4 months for delivery … not impossible given hardware issues with S4 and a bit of a let down on the granular side of Tonverk ( for now) GR Mega in stereo seems very polished. What do you think?
Yeah i posted this based on what people wished at the time(they still do), mainly granular. ![]()
amazing
God those videos are just so good. But money. But they’re so good.
I realy like thoses sounds ![]()
Great work
I see this has 4 effects that can be assigned. Is that 4 per part, or is that chain shared amongst all parts?
4 effects per part/layer
Awesome. Thanks for the info.
Yeah thank you, these videos were so awesome I finally pulled the trigger on a used one on Reverb. Very excited to receive this!
