Few of my favourite mixes are by Daniel Avery, Cio D’or and Dasha Rush (links below).
I’d say that one could categorize these as hypnotic techno / modular techno.

Some of the MasCon stuff on Snork gets pretty hypnotic
skimming through that Dasha Rush set, I’m pretty sure I heard some Mike Parker stuff
