Hmm - it has pattern chaining…

I hope this makes it to iOS :crossed_fingers:t3:

I don’t buy much new software for my Mac, but have just snapped this up. It’s pretty much every feature I could possibly hope for in one soft drum synth - it’s like Microtonic, Machinedrum and an 808 in one, with an Elektron-type sequencer on steroids - highly recommended!

I bought it, too, to try with my external drum controller. All electronic kits I’ve ever tried don’t have a good playing feel, so I’ve only ever used BFD multisampled kits with 128 velocity layers. Only a hardware Nord Drum 3P has ever given me a decent electronic sound and feel, but I’m hoping DrumComputer will provide a much bigger variety.

I think you’ll like it. It seems to be quite a deep plugin. I’m going to try it with midi out to my ARmk2, as it’s a very nice midi generator.

I did a quick test with my keyboard to make sure that it has real variation with velocity, and it does. Using a keyboard to drum, though, is pretty clumsy, so I only use Zendrum controllers, but it’ll be a few days before I can try that.

Wow - never seen these controllers. They look very nice.

Yeah, really expensive, but zero crosstalk. The thing’s design is entirely devoted to super-sensitive triggers that are isolated from each other so that you can play as heavy or light as you want without false triggers. Here’s a good demo.

loving this little drum synth

Every one of my patches says “not found” under the WAVETABLE and RESYNTH sections, but I had no errors during installation, and the library is almost 600MB. Am I missing something?

Not sure, but will be able to check my install in a few hours. Will let you know.

Everything is working here on OSX 10.13.6 and LIVE 10.1.5

All these features in MD mk 3 please

Seems fine to me. Here’s the video from SB on this subject - may be of use : https://youtu.be/YR4RQnuvR2Q

If all else fails, delete and reinstall - see if it’s saving the library somewhere unusual.

…i’m all time happy with microtonique…

the only sugarbytes plugin i can never go without is effectrixx…

Here’s a problem, I think. This folder and file don’t get installed:

/Library/Application Support/Sugar Bytes/DrumComputer

/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.DrumComputer.plist

If you have access to your /Library folder, can someone verify the existence of the above folder and file?

I fixed my problem on my Mac by uninstalling the way the manual says, but then also emptying the trash and rebooting before reinstalling. Everything is properly found now.

Glad it’s sorted :v:
